Camera trap summary - indigenous communities, Manu National Park, Peru

This dataset has camera trap station ID's as rows and camera trap set up and species record summaries as columns: 

Camera = Camera station ID's: "MCT_No" for Maizal, "T_No" for Tayakome, "YCT_No" for Yomibato. 

Season = The climatic period of the camera trap survey.

Year = The year the camera trap survey was conducted.

Month = The month (numerical) the camera trap survey was conducted.

First.date = The date of the first image that was taken by the camera trap.

Last.date = The date of the last image that was taken by the camera trap.

n_nights = The number of nights the camera trap was operational during the camera trap survey.

Species = The species name (scientific) captured at the camera trap station, including birds.

n_events = The total number of independent capture events of a species at the camera trap station. 

At each community (2013-2015), 15 camera traps were placed in the hunting zone, spaced 2 km apart with an additional camera in the centre at 1.6 km apart from other cameras, conforming to TEAM Network methodology. Trapping effort: Maizal: 3,630; Tayakome: 6,375; Yomibato: 3,165 trap nights.

Photos of the same species within the same hour were excluded to maintain independent capture events.
