Shallow firn cores on Thwaites Eastern Ice Shelf - densities and water isotope analysis

This dataset contains measurements of firn densities and d18O, dD, and d-excess of O2 from water samples taken from two shallow firn cores on Thwaites Eastern Ice Shelf. The shallow firn cores were collected at Cavity Camp and Channel Camp on January 5 and 8, 2023 (respectively). The core was sampled at 3-10cm resolution, down to 8m below the surface (covering approximately the period of 2018-2023). Water samples were collected from each section of the core, melted, and used for water isotope analysis, which was performed in June 2023. The data file contains three sheets: a README, the data from Channel Camp, and the data from Cavity Camp.
