Annual plastic waste exports from the UK 2020-2022, by type

The United Kingdom exported 255,130 metric tons of polyethylene (PE) waste in 2022, making it the most exported plastic waste type. Meanwhile, polystyrene waste exports amounted to some 25,320 metric tons that year, up from below 10,000 metric tons in 2020.
