The diversity of bacteria is considered an important indicator of the stability of a community. Generally speaking, the higher the bacterial diversity, the stronger the stability of the community, and the greater its ability to resist pathogens. There is obvious sexual dimorphism in crustaceans. We identified the differences in intestinal microbiota between male and female P. vannamei under normal conditions, exploring the relationship between gender and disease resistance from multiple aspects, and laying a foundation for future shrimp farming.
