Future exposure to heat in West Africa

This data set is needed to reproduce the figures in the git repository. Earth's Future, 8, e2019EF001473. https://doi.org/10.1029/2019EF001473 The climate heat indicator for Africa is based on CORDEX-CORE AFR-22 data. For the calculation of the number of extrem heat days (maximum temperature > 40°C) we use the index_calculator. This is using xclim. In addition to the climate change signal, the robustness is also indicated. We remapped and calculated timemean of the original population data from: Franziska Piontek, Tobias Geiger (2017): ISIMIP2b secondary population input data (v1.0).
