Step-wise evolution of azole resistance by CNV and LOH in Candida albicans

This repository includes whole genome sequencing data for strains of Candida albicans that were evolved in 1 ug/mL fluconazole in two separate experiments. One lineage underwent copy number changes on chromosome 4, followed by a loss of heterozygosity on chromosome R affecting the gene KSR1. The other three lineages also underwent loss of heterozygosity affecting KSR1. In addition to population level whole genome sequencing for each passage, whole genome sequencing is included for lab engineered strains with loss of heterozygosity at KSR1, heterozygous and homozygous deletions of KSR1, point mutations at KSR1, and strains with fluorescently tagged KSR1 alleles.
