Dataset supporting the paper "16S rRNA gene-based genetic diversity of Wolbachia strains infecting Anopheles gambiae s.s. and Anopheles coluzzii in Côte d'Ivoire"

These data accompany the publication “16S rRNA gene-based genetic diversity of Wolbachia strains infecting Anopheles gambiae s.s. and Anopheles coluzzii in Côte d'Ivoire”They consist of three files, which are as follows: The 16S rRNA sequences amplified from total DNA samples of mosquitoes belonging to the Anopheles gambiae complex. The alignment results of the obtained 16S rRNA sequences, including some from this study and others retrieved from the GenBank database. The alignment results of the wAnga_CI obtained 16S rRNA sequences, including some from this study and others retrieved from the GenBank database. The database generated in this study, which contains information on the molecular identification of species within the gambiae complex and data related to the natural infection of Anopheles gambiae by Wolbachia.
