This dataset contains microsatellite genotypes and sex identification data for 57 Chinese goral (Naemorhedus griseus) individuals collected from Hunan Province (HN) and Chongqing Municipality (CQ), China, between 2022 and 2024. All samples were collected non-invasively from fresh feces and species origin was confirmed via mitochondrial DNA sequencing.
