Strengthening E-Government’s Impact on Corruption Perception: The Moderating Role of Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS)

This dataset contains the replication files and raw data for the study. Below is a description of each file:

rawdata.zip: A compressed archive containing all individual raw data files (including Excel and .dta formats).

FMIS_rawdata.dta: A consolidated data file created by merging the individual raw data sources found in rawdata.zip.

data_preprocessing.do: A Stata do-file containing the commands required to preprocess FMIS_rawdata.dta. Running this file will generate the final analysis dataset.

FMIS_data.dta: The final processed dataset used for the regression analysis in the paper. It includes only the variables specifically selected for the empirical models.

data_readme.docx: A documentation file providing detailed information on the sources and specifics of each individual data point.

stata_command.txt: A comprehensive collection of Stata commands used to replicate the econometric results of the study based on the FMIS_data.dta file.
