Emission data 2019: Nitrogen oxides, NOx

The map contains information on anthropogenic emissions of air pollution emitted from Danish sources. The dataset is consistent with the national emission inventories reported annually to international conventions and EU directives. The data set includes emissions from point sources (e.g. CHP plants, large industrial plants and large skin animal husbandry) as well as emissions from diffuse sources (e.g. transport, households and cropland). Data is calculated on a grid with a geographical resolution of 1 km x 1 km and contains information about the total annual emission for each square in the grid. The dataset is the result of modelling based on a combination of different types of data related to the sources of air pollution, including activity data, emission factors and geographical data.
