A showing and question and answer, Silver Lake Public Library, 2915 June 4, of/on the Oral history interview of Alexei Romanoff (Pasadena, 2009 April 28) with Alexei Romanoff's comments following the presentation, by the Silver Lake History Collective (SLHC) and Created Equal. Moderated by Mark Simon. Romanoff was born in the Ukraine, lived in New York city, and later moved to Silver Lake. He was the owner of the Black Cat Bar (Black Cat Tavern), 3909 West Sunset Boulevard, in Silver Lake at which there was a riot in 1967. Part of a series of oral histories "The people of Silver Lake".
