Replication Data for \"Cultural Gravity and Trade: Can the Pied Piper call the tune?\"

The dataset, entitled \"caricom_final\", contains panel data for the estimation of a gravity equation for the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) region's bilateral trade with bilateral partners over the period 1999-2006. The dataset contains all normative gravity equation variables, as well as unique and statistically significant instrumental variables represented by the World Intellectual Property Organization Performance and Phonograms Treaty (WPPT) as well as total musical innovations within the Jamaican Reggae music recording industry over the aforementioned period. The dataset also contains sectoral bilateral trade data on agricultural, non-agricultural and cultural goods trade between the CARICOM region and its bilateral trade partners.
