Sustainable Recreation Development / Dial Range / Track Improvement and Construction

Under the guidance of Field Officers, Planners and a Supervisor undertake track improvements on specific tracks within the Dial Range. Tracks include Tall Trees, Mt Montgomery and Mt Duncan. Track require clearing, erosion control and installation of drainage and steps where required. Disused vehicle tracks that have become severely eroded including Hales Rd, require rehabilitation. In addition, an area previously used by the no longer active local pony club needs cleaning up and old jumps etc removed and the area remediated. This assistance to bring tracks back to standard would be invaluable and provide the basis to begin identifying walking versus bike specific tracks.
