Prevalence and Determinants of Non-Exclusive Breastfeeding Among Infants Under Six Months in Somalia: A Nationally Representative Analysis of the 2020 SHDS

This dataset contains nationally representative data used to examine the prevalence and determinants of non-exclusive breastfeeding among infants under six months in Somalia using the 2020 Somali Health and Demographic Survey (SHDS). The dataset includes variables related to infant feeding practices, maternal socio-demographic characteristics, household factors, and healthcare utilization. The analysis was conducted to identify factors associated with non-exclusive breastfeeding and to provide evidence that may support maternal and child health interventions, nutrition policies, and breastfeeding promotion programs in Somalia.
