Calendar drift and warming in modelled heat exposure at the Hajj ritual sites, 1940–2026: a station-validated ERA5 reconstruction (data and code)

Restricted-access deposit for the manuscript "Calendar drift and warming in modelled heat exposure at the Hajj ritual sites, 1940–2026: a station-validated ERA5 reconstruction" (in preparation). Contents (five zip parts): analysis code; derived daily and season-level exposure data and results (the hourly ERA5 cell files are omitted and are rebuilt by 01_download_era5_openmeteo_s3.py and 03_build_hourly.py); HEAT-Lim reference curves (CC BY 4.0, Vanos et al. 2023); the pre-specified analysis plan with its SHA-256 record; figures and supplementary files. All values are model outputs derived from ERA5 (Copernicus Climate Change Service) and NOAA NCEI station data (Makkah 410300, Mina 410310, Arafat 410320), accessed 27 October 2026. Access: the files are available from the author on reasonable request (mebeeh@uqu.edu.sa). Funding: Umm Al-Qura University, Saudi Arabia, grant 26UQU4340520GSSR76. Version 2 (31 October 2026) adds P4_code_update_v2_2026-10-31.zip: the complete current analysis and build code and the derived result files created after version 1, including replicate-level counts for post hoc check PH3 and the printed decomposition terms.
