Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW0008 (2000)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system and BellAerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter during Maurice Ewing expedition EW0008 conducted in 2000 (Chief Scientist: Dr. W. Steven Holbrook). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Gravity Field and Singlebeam Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Three-Dimensional Structure and Physical Properties of a Methane Hydrate Deposit and Methane Gas Reservoir, Blake Ridge, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE99-10966.
