Global Forest Area Dataset (1990–2022)

This dataset contains raw panel data on forest area by country from 1990 to 2022, sourced from the World Bank. It includes two key indicators: - Forest area (% of land area) - Forest area (sq. km) Each record represents one indicator per country, with yearly values from 1990 to 2022. This dataset supports the article “Fractal and Multifractal Inequalities of Global Deforestation (1991–2022) and Forecasts up to 2043” by Anastasia Kurilova. It serves as the empirical foundation for fractal and multifractal analysis but does not include calculated metrics or modeling results.
