Coastal topo-bathymetric MNT of the Gironde estuary – Aval (HOMONIM project)

The update of the coastal topo-bathymetric NTM of the Gironde estuary – downstream to a resolution of 0.0002° (~ 20 m) was carried out as part of the HOMONIM phase 3 project. This NTM extends over the downstream part of the Gironde estuary, from Pauillac to its mouth. It is complementary to the NTM covering the upstream estuary. The NTM is intended to be implemented in hydrodynamic models to produce as accurate forecasts as possible of the heights of water and sea states to the coast in order to improve the relevance of the Vigilance Vagues-Submersion. This product is available with the lowest astronomical sea level (PBMA) or mean sea level (NM) as a vertical reference.
