资源简介:
The material is based on questionnaire information from a group of 177 families with small children in Funen. The group was selected from three localities: market town, railway town and rural district in such a way that approx. half of the families have their children in public child-minding institutions. The information concerned family affiliation, working conditions and child-minding. # The survey is one in a series of surveys which have been carried out by the Danish National Institute of Social Research as parts of a project on the demand for public child-minding: Which conditions create demands for public child-minding? # From the start the project focuses on factors such as the family's life together, financial conditions, housing conditions, working conditions, educational conditions, and number of children in the family. The purpose of the project is to examine the influence of these factors, isolated as well as in interaction, on the family's demand for public child-minding. # A further aim of the project is that the results may be used by the municipalities in connection with a local assessment of the demand. This means that the project will point out the demand-relevant information which the municipalities may, with advantage, include in the planning regarding child-minding institutions from the rather comprehensive registers which the municipalities possess or have access to. # Other surveys in the project are: 'Municipal and Private Child-Minding Facilities, 1975' (DDA-0675), 'Family Formation and Women's Employment, 1975' (DDA-0709), 'Child-Minding of 6 to 10-Year-Olds, 1986' (DDA-1184) and 'Child-Minding of 0 to 6-Year-Olds, 1985' (DDA-1187)
