Starting from the Spanish base Gabriel de Castilla, samples were collected at various locations within Port Foster from an inflatable boat. The collected samples were used to analyze variables, such as methane, pH, total alkalinity, dissolved oxygen, dissolved organic carbon, nutrients, chlorophyll and trace metals. Additionally, a multiparameter probe was deployed to obtain vertical profiles of pressure, temperature, conductivity, oxygen, pH, turbidity and fluorescence.
