RNA-seq of single myofibers isolated from skeletal muscle of young and old mice

We report RNA-seq of single myofibers with different p21 expression level isolated from EDL muscle of young and old mice. Overall design: We isolated single myofibers from EDL muscle of young (6 months) and old (24 months) mice. These myofibers were seperated to three groups based on their p21 expression value (RT-PCR). Three or four myofibers from each group were used for RNA-seq (Young-p21-Low (n=3), Old-p21-Low (n=3), and Old-p21-High (n=4). )
