PBMC gene expression profiles generated from 136 current or former smokers from the COPDGene® study. 42 control subjects and 94 subjects with varying severity of COPD had PBMC gene expression profiles generated.
The transcriptome (mRNAs) was characterized using Affymetrix GeneChip® Human Genome U133 2.0 Arrays. The full dataset is available from the National Center for Biotechnology Information Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO; http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gds/?term=GEO) under the identifier GSE42057.
This dataset is the normalized intensity values for each gene and each sample.
