The goal of this study was to analyze the DNA binding landscape of ELF1 in A549 cells. We found that ELF1 mostly binds promoters of genes, close to transcription start sites. We used the promoter-bound genes from our ChIP-seq data and intersected it with differentially expressed genes upon ELF1 overexpression in A549 cells to identify a set of ELF1 regulated target genes. Overall design: Examination of ELF1 DNA binding landscape at steady-state or under IFN-beta stimulation. Examination of ELF1 DNA binding landscape in wild-type A549 cells.
