To test the consequence of NarS T380 phosphorylation on downstream signaling, we explored transcriptional changes associated with either phosphorylation state. Overall design: Bacteria were induced with anhydrotetracycline for the over expression of the mutant and then all the bacteria were harvested at stationary phase. RNA was isolated and gene expresion quantified by sequencing.
