DisinfoMeme

DisinfoMeme是一个用于检测故意传播错误信息的模因的多模态数据集。该数据集由加州大学洛杉矶分校创建，包含从Reddit挖掘的1170个模因，涉及新冠疫情、黑命贵运动和素食主义/素食三个当前话题。数据集创建过程中，通过关键词在特定社区中检索相关图像，并由亚马逊Mechanical Turk进行人工标注。DisinfoMeme旨在解决社交媒体上错误信息传播的问题，特别是通过模因这一形式。DisinfoMeme is a multimodal dataset developed for detecting intentionally spread disinformation via memes. Created by the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), this dataset comprises 1,170 memes mined from Reddit, covering three contemporary topics: the COVID-19 pandemic, the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, and vegetarianism/veganism. During its construction, relevant images were retrieved from targeted communities using keyword queries, followed by manual annotation through Amazon Mechanical Turk. DisinfoMeme is intended to address the problem of disinformation propagation on social media, especially in the form of memes.
