Planning, coordination, and communications to build regional NRM skills, knowledge, capacity and deliver on-ground resource condition and management changes

Delivers region wide NRM coordination, management, communications, brokering partnerships and co-investment, and supporting Indigenous and community groups to engage in the broader environment/NRM program.
Effective leadership will implement the regional NRM plan, ensuring it aligns with national, state, regional and local NRM objectives. Technical leadership and support will ensure that regional planning processes and decision making are informed by best available science. Leading and coordinating effective networks, partnerships and communication with the aim of building beneficial relationships, capacity and collective effort.
Prioritisation and sourcing of investments to deliver NRM objectives, the development and negotiation of proposals, deliverables, milestones and schedules for government and other NRM funding programs, and delivery of performance reporting to government and other investors. Underpinning this will be the coordination of appropriate monitoring, evaluation and review systems to effectively inform NRM planning processes, and meet the needs of internal, regional and other stakeholders.
