Broward County Emergency Response Stress Index

This map highlights highlight the risk in regards to emergency response efforts. This is shown using a risk index calculated with Arcade. This index helps us visualize risk based on multiple socioeconomic factors: - Poverty rate - Households without a vehicle - Households without internet - Household without insurance - Dependent population (under 18 and 65+) Data within this map comes from the most current 5-year estimate American Community Survey (ACS) data from the U.S. Census Bureau. The data is updated behind the scenes each year, and since the map uses Arcade for the symbology and pop-up, the map always stays up-to-date with the newest data values.
