Coastal line maps: Location national beach poles line along the Dutch Coast (2012)

Location of the national beach poles line along the Dutch Coast. As part of the JARKUS programme, height and depth measurements are carried out annually perpendicular to the RijkStrandpalenlijn (the line connecting the national beach poles). These measurements serve as inputs for, among other things, research and testing baseline position. The national beach poles line forms the 0 point of the measurements (landward is negative). This layer is used for display in the Coastal Line Cardbooks.
