LAPRO2009 — Reactivation of floodplains

Reactivable floodplains are still largely natural areas, which are flooded only to a limited extent as a result of water corrections. Targeted redesign measures in the water can help to ensure that the floodplain in question is again flooded more frequently. The areas of local importance in this regard are presented in the Saarland landscape programme. (As of June 2009)
