Data Storage for Bluhm and Krause (2022): Top lights: Bright cities and their contribution to economic development

This data set provides the nighttime lights data and generated by Bluhm and Krause (2022) "Top lights: Bright cities and their contribution to economic development" Journal of Development Economics. The data also includes the input data from NOAA EOG required to run and benchmark the correction (average lights, stable lights and radiance calibrated lights). These differ from the NOAA EOG data only in that they have been processed to include only areas below the Arctic Circle --- that is, extent(-180.0042, 180.0042, -60.00417, 66.5375) --- and pixels without land mass in the GPW4 land area raster were set to zero.
