Trend Questions Corona (Week 5/2022)

On behalf of the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government, the opinion research institute forsa has regularly conducted representative population surveys on the subject of the ´Corona crisis´ (COVID-19) from calendar week 12/2020. The individual question areas were adapted according to the survey period.<br>Concerns about infection with the corona virus (self and family members or friends); concerns about infecting others; already infected with the corona virus at least once; credibility of information provided by the federal government on the corona crisis; assessment of current policy measures to contain the corona virus (appropriate, go too far or do not go far enough); vaccination status: Number of Corona vaccinations already received (none, one, two, three); willingness to be vaccinated against the Corona virus if no vaccination so far; willingness to receive a booster vaccination against Corona; own children aged between 5 and 11 years or between 12 and 17 years; willingness in principle to vaccinate own children aged between 5 and 11 years or between 12 and 17 years of age against the Corona virus; Corona warning app installed and used on smartphone in the last few weeks, app installed but deleted in the meantime or never installed; if Corona warning app still used: Vaccination certificate saved in the Corona warning app, checked into restaurants or events using the Corona warning app, reported a positive test result to the Corona warning app, received a red alert due to a risk contact from the Corona warning app; agreement with statements about the Corona warning app (makes an important contribution to combating the pandemic, users´ data is not sufficiently protected by the Corona warning app, I feel well informed about what to do in the event of a red warning message due to a risk contact (app users only)); behaviour in the event of a red warning message in the Corona warning app due to a risk contact after a visit to the supermarket (split 1) or in a restaurant (split 2, vaccinated only): would go into domestic quarantine, would have a PCR test done, would have a rapid test done at a test centre, would self-test more frequently in the next few days, would do something else, namely: Avoid/reduce contacts, inform affected contacts, self-monitor symptoms, other, would do nothing.

Demography: sex; age (grouped); employment; education; net household income (grouped); party preference in the next general election; voting behaviour in the last general election.
