RNAseq analyses of the multiple mutant plants of RVEs and LNKs under cold stresses

We found that RVE transcription factors and their interacting proteins, LNKs function as activators of the cold-inducible DREB1 expression. Multiple mutant plants of RVE genes (rve3 rve4 rve5 rve6 rve8; rveQ) and LNK genes (lnk1 lnk2 lnk3 lnk4; lnkQ) were sensitive to the freezing stress. In order to comprehensively analyze and compare downstream genes of RVEs and LNKs in the cold response, we conducted RNA sequence analyses. We used 14-day-old whole seedlings of wild type (Col-0), rveQ and lnkQ mutant plants grown on GM agar plates under 12-h light/12-h dark cycles at 22ðC. Cold stress (4ðC) was treated for 3 h from 2 h after dawn. We have three biological replicates for this analysis.
