VPRS 12146 Journal of Loans to Municipalities under Municipalities Loans Extension Act 1898

The Municipalities Loans Extension Act 1898 provided for the consolidation of outstanding municipal loans and gave municipalities the opportunity to extend the period during which they were to provide repayment for these loans.This series consists of a journal of ongoing repayments and outstanding balances made by municipalities who chose to take advantage of the provisions of the Act.These transactions were subsequently posted to VPRS 2020 Loan Ledgers.
