Geological 3D model Freiberg

The geological model was developed as part of the project “Deep Geothermal Saxony” and represents the sequence of geological rock layers in the area around Freiberg in a 3 dimensional space. The geological model is a detailed model that visualises the spread of the encountered rock layers (gneiss and granite) in the underground, with the inclusion of geological disturbances. The model was created as GOCAD model in version 2009/4.
