This folder contains all code and data needed to reproduce results in the manuscript "Directional phyllotactic bias in Calathea spp. (Marantaceae): a citizen science approach" by Benjamin Durrington, Fiona Chong, and Daniel H. Chitwood.<br>The folder "statistical_tests" contains the code and data to reproduce Chi-squared tests and Wilcoxon signed rank tests used to test for phyllotactic bias.<br>The folder "figure_code" contains the code and data to reproduce plots for Figures 3 and 4.<br>The folder "google_image_search" contains google image search result images and links.<br>The folder "nursery_visits" contains pictures taken at nurseries and scored handedness for each plant.
