Mai Xiu says the name of the large pot used for dyeing clothes, dlah bay tram. It has no neck and a wide mouth. It was used in the past to dye fibres before making cloth: people would boil part of a tree and pound it, then put it in this pot with water and fibres for about a week. It can also be used to keep rice and other food and/or objects. In the past, this type of pot could be sold for 12kg (=1 large basket) of unhusked rice; four of them could be sold for 1 small pig; five of them could be sold for a new blanket.
