SOOP TIDAL-HX01 observations conducted on board the MV Fridtjof Nansen within Greenland's EEZ

This dataset contains raw observational data collected on board the MV Fridtjof Nansen as part of the innovation platform Shaping an Ocean of Possibilities (SOOP) within the Exclusive Economic Zone of Greenland during the TIDAL-HX01 campaign from 16 May to 14 August 2024. The data include atmospheric and oceanic measurements obtained using various instruments:

Underway sea surface water observations: Including measurements of temperature, pCO₂, salinity, conductivity, and oxygen.Contact persons: Melf Paulsen, Tobias Steinhoff

Underway air observations: Conducted with the Portable Atmospheric Measurement Box on Sea (PAMOS), including meteorological data, aerosols, and trace gases.Contact person: Laura Köhler

Microplastic samples: Collected at various locations using filters of 300 µm, 100 µm, and 10 µm, including information on sampling locations and sampled particles.Contact person: Lars Hildebrandt
