Agricultural disturbance effects on virus-associated risks

We characterized the viruses and its associated ARGs and VFGs in agricultural soils treated with low- and high-dose organic fertilizers, microplastics, and pesticides. By metagenomic sequencing analysis, we aimed to (1) determine the composition of viromes in control and disturbed soil; (2) explore the ARG and VFG composition and their risks in disturbed soil; and (3) elucidate potential factors driving shifts in virus-associated human health risks.
