Latinisms in Supranational and National Lawmaking

The dataset was created in connection with the publication entitled “Latinisms in Supranational and National Lawmaking: A Contrastive Study of EU Directives and Polish Transposition Measures”, which was created as part of the research project “Legal Latin From an Interdisciplinary Perspective” (2023/51/D/HS2/02842, NCN). The dataset has been used to investigate how Latinisms occurring in Polish-language versions of EU directives are mediated during their transposition into Polish national legislation.The dataset includes the following files:1.     readme.txt – Readme file for the dataset.2.     corpus_design.tab – Corpus description (number of texts, tokens, types, and time frames).3.     Sub_corpus_1_PL_Directives.zip – Sub-corpus no. 1 with PL language versions of EU directives.4.     Sub_corpus_2_PL_Transposing_acts.zip – Sub-corpus no. 2 with PL transpositions measures (statutes and regulations).5.     Sub_corpus_3_PL_Transposing_acts_reference.zip – Sub-corpus no. 3 with reference PL transpositions measures (statutes and regulations).
