Monogamous Frogs data and code

This repository contains the R code, raw data, and associated input files used to analyse reproductive output, parentage, and mating patterns in wild populations of the alpine tree frog, <i>Litoria verreauxii alpina</i>. These files support analyses examining whether breeding pairs showed evidence of monogamy or multiple mating, and how reproductive success varied among adults and egg masses across sampled populations.The dataset includes parentage-analysis input and output files, SNP-filtered genotype files, sample metadata, reproductive and clutch-level data, and R scripts used for downstream data processing, summary statistics, and figure generation. Code is provided to reproduce the main analytical steps, including data cleaning, formatting of parentage assignments, summarising mating outcomes, quantifying reproductive contributions, and generating tables and visualisations used in the associated manuscript.These materials are provided to support transparency and reproducibility of the study. File names and directory structure have been retained where possible to reflect the original analytical workflow. Users should consult the accompanying R scripts for details on required packages, input file formats, and the order in which analyses were conducted.The data are associated with a study investigating reproductive behaviour and parentage patterns in <i>Litoria verreauxii alpina</i>, with a particular focus on the extent of genetic monogamy, reproductive skew, and variation in breeding success among individuals under field conditions.
