This study was performed to evaluate differences between male- and female-derived classical monocytes upon LPS stimulation. PBMCs of healthy men and women were stimulated for 4 hours with LPS or medium alone. Classical CD14+ monocytes were isolated using the anti-Human CD14 Magnetic Particles Kit (Becton Dickinson) and prepared for RNA sequencing.
