Gut microbial dysbiosis and changes in fecal metabolic phenotype in precancerous lesions of gastric cancer (PLGC) induced with MNNG, sodium salicylate, ranitidine and irregular diet

The abundance ratio of Firmicutes to Bacteroides in the PLGC stage changed significantly, which was similar to observations made in human populations. Accumulating evidence has shown that alterations in gut microbiota and metabolism are potentially linked to chronic inflammation and cancer of the gastrointestinal tract. However, the changes of gut microbiota and metabolites, inflammatory factors and their correlation in the formation of PLGC have not yet been revealed.
