Expression data of human peripheral blood leukocytes

Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) is a huge health burden in China, tongue diagnosis is the premise of personalized treatment of CHB by traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). The modern biological interpretation of pathological TCM tongue coating manifestation is unclear We performed transcriptional analysis in CHB patients with white tongue coating(WTC) or yellow tongue coating(YTC) to explain the potential inner biological differences After the experts’ tongue image judgment consistency certification, 16 cases of CHB patients with typical light red tongue and WTC, 24 CHB cases with red tongue and YTC were included. 14 healthy controls with normal tongue manifestation, matched with age and gender, were enrolled as control. The peripheral blood samples were collected by TempusTM Blood RNA Tubes (Thermo Fisher Scientific), Affymetrix Human Genome U219 Array plates were used. The quality control data was normalized by the RMA algorithm using Gene Spring Software 11.5 (Agilent).
