This dataset contains data from the study titled "Sequential changes in serum adipokines and their clinical impacts in critically ill COVID-19 patients: a prospective study".
The study includes 30 critically ill COVID-19 patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) and 10 healthy controls.Variables: The dataset contains demographic data, body mass index (BMI), APACHE-II scores, mechanical ventilation duration, nutritional parameters, and serum adipokine levels (adiponectin, GLP-1, resistin, visfatin, acyl ghrelin, IGF-1, leptin).Data Collection Process: Data was collected on admission (Day 0) and Day 7 of ICU stay.Purpose: This dataset can be used to investigate the metabolic and inflammatory changes in critically ill COVID-19 patients and explore the role of adipokines in critical illness.License: CC-BY 4.0 – The dataset can be freely used with proper attribution.
