In this study we sought to examine relationships between the gut microbiome and polio vaccine serological responses in DRC. We selected three close proximity geographic regions for sampling based on OPV SIAs and cVDPV cases. We hypothesized that the gut microbiome composition would differ among these regions and influence the serological response to polio vaccine in children from DRC.
