Multiple Organ Failure (MOF) is one of the most severe and complex clinical conditions encountered in intensive care and resuscitation practice. This syndrome is characterized by the simultaneous or sequential functional failure of two or more vital organs. MOF most commonly develops in the context of sepsis, septic shock, severe trauma, burns, and major surgical interventions.
