NCA and Robustness Test Results of Chinese Enterprises' Independent Innovation Under U.S. Technology Blockade (2018–2023)

This data report presents the results of Necessary Condition Analysis (NCA), bottleneck level analysis, and robustness tests based on data from 44 A-share listed companies that were added to the U.S. Entity List between 2018 and 2023. It examines the necessary condition effects and bottleneck levels of seven antecedent conditions—top management attention, technological capability, organizational slack, government support, resource structuring, resource bundling, and resource leveraging—on independent innovation. Robustness tests of the configuration analysis results were conducted using three methods: case frequency adjustment, consistency threshold adjustment, and text dictionary adjustment for resource structuring, resource bundling, and resource leveraging.
