Companion Dataset for "Interacting Galaxies in MaNGA I: Sample Selection and Tully–Fisher Relation"
收藏资源简介:
Description This dataset contains the companion table associated with the manuscript “Interacting galaxies in MaNGA I. Sample selection & Tully-Fisher relation”, submitted to Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (MNRAS). Authors: Bruno H. da Silva, Pedro K. Humire, Isadora Santos, Roy Slater, Jose A. Hernandez-Jimenez, Sergio Torres-Flores, Gissel P. Montaguth, Daniela E. Olave-Rojas, and Ricardo Demarco. The table provides the principal physical, kinematic, and morphological properties used in the analysis of a sample of 217 interacting galaxies from the MaNGA survey. It accompanies the manuscript and is intended to facilitate the reproducibility of the results as well as future investigations of the kinematic scaling relations and morphological properties of interacting galaxies. The dataset contains 217 entries, one for each galaxy, with the following columns: Galaxy identification name — Galaxy identifier. PlateIFU — MaNGA Plate-IFU identifier. Physical properties log_mass — Logarithm of the stellar mass. e_log_mass — Uncertainty in the logarithm of the stellar mass. log_Mass_gas — Logarithm of the gas mass. Kinematic properties Vmax_ha — Maximum rotational velocity derived from the Hα velocity field. V_sigma_ratio — Ratio of rotational velocity to velocity dispersion, (V/\sigma). S_0.5 — The (S_{0.5}) kinematic estimator, combining ordered and random motions. Non-parametric morphological diagnostics Gini — Gini coefficient, measuring the inequality of the galaxy light distribution. M20 — Normalized second-order moment of the brightest 20% of the galaxy light, sensitive to bright off-center structures and mergers. A — Asymmetry index, quantifying the rotational asymmetry of the galaxy. C — Concentration index, describing how centrally concentrated the galaxy light is. F(G_M20) — The (F(G,M_{20})) morphological diagnostic, a composite parameter derived from the Gini coefficient and (M_{20}), used to characterize galaxy morphology and identify disturbed systems.
