Satakunta building heritage 2005

The update of the Satakunta building heritage inventory was carried out in 2003-2005. The list was based on an inventory of 1987-88 published in the Satakunta building tradition book in 1990. The inventory compiles site and regional information on the regionally significant cultural environments and building heritage of Satakunta. Regional boundaries overlap with nationally significant boundaries of built cultural environments. The starting point was “Satakunta building heritage 2005” (Lauri Putkonen). The regions and targets have been digitised in the Satakunta Federation. The material is available at the Satakunta Museum in the Pakki service. The material is suitable for land use planning and preservation of the building heritage. The areas and sites have been taken into account in Satakunta’s phase provincial plan 2, approved by the Regional Council of Satakunta on 17 May 2019.
