Ecotoopvulnerability maps for Flanders 2016 – version 2

Based on the abiotic location requirements of the ecotopes, a sensitivity is associated with environmental pressures of drying, eutrophication and acidification for each ecotope. This results in a degree of vulnerability for these impact groups. Ecotopes, which are highly sensitive to certain environmental pressures and which, in addition, are biologically very valuable, are very vulnerable. The link to the Biological Valuation Map spatially locates the vulnerability of ecotopes to the three environmental pressures. The method is therefore appropriate for the environmental assessment of site alternatives.
